Book Review: The Butterfly Effect

Today I chose to enjoy my children, laughing with them as they raced through the yard. I chose to make dinner joyfully, engage in their education and dutifully do the laundry. Could these small choices everyday actually matter---in the grand scheme of things? We have all heard about the butterfly effect, you know the theory that if a butterfly flapped its wings on one side of the world by the time the molecules of air have pushed their way to the other side a huge tidal wave could be the result. Andy Andrews in his newly published book, The Butterfly Effect, engages the reader in an adventure story about the affect of one man, and how the outcome of his decision shapes a nation. And moms, every day we make decisions...we choose to engage our children, and our choices may also change nations...if you need to be reminded of this today or if you know someone who does, this gift book with a beautiful butterfly will brighten their day. I was given this book by Thomas Nelson Publishing Company for purpose of review. I would give this book 5 stars.
