Book Review: Trouble In Store

Trouble in Store is the latest novel written by Carol Cox.  Right from the first chapter I knew this was going to be a fun story to read.  The main character, Melanie Ross,  finds herself in the midst of an abrupt change of destination.  She no longer will be able to find work as a governess and with no living family her options are limited as to where she might call home.  Out of desperation she decides to move to Arizona to find work at the store of her late uncles.  Being in the wild west there are many proposals of marriage that come her way, but marriage is not the first thing on her mind, but rather proving to herself and to Caleb, the current owner of the mercantile that she wants to work at is her first priority.  I really enjoyed the character development between Melanie and Caleb.  I would recommend this story and give it 4 stars.  I had the opportunity to review this book, and it was the perfect start to my vacation reading. Book has been provided courtesy of Baker Publishing Group and Graf-Martin Communications, Inc.  Available at your favourite bookseller from Bethany House, a division of Baker Publishing Group.
