Christmas 2009 was a wonderful day with lots of memories made. We opened presents and spent lots of time together. DD #2 had a special request on her list this year, one that DH and I knew she would not be getting....she wanted a real baby for Christmas! Well, I do know that God sometimes gives us the desires of our heart, and Him the One that teaches love, had a special surprise for our long blond hair girl. As He would have it, special friends would go into labor for baby #2 many weeks early, and being Christmas Eve, we were the back up babysitter for baby #1 (12 months old) and we were blessed to have a baby for Christmas!
DD #2, God loves you so much that he granted this special request! We were blessed to have a few days with Baby #1, enjoying his giggles, playing peek-a-boo, and giving lots of love.
Thank-you Lord, for giving this special gift to us this Christmas.
