Baby Update

The phone rang at 2:51 am...and I jumped out of bed. All kinds of thoughts crossed my mind, only bad news comes at this time of night...and then I remember. The screen on the phone confirms my thoughts...its good news, a baby soon to be born! I hear the monitor through the phone lines, the beating of a tiny heart...I send prayers and thoughts through the line and then I hang up. In the blackness of the night my mind rewinds back six years, the sounds of the hospital still in my ears, and over the course of the night I re-visit each birth, I smile through the memories. It is amazing how real and close each one of those births feel, the sound of the babies cry and the wrinkle of the babies head. I can't sleep...so I wait, pray and reminisce....you can do it T, I can't wait to hold that baby.
