Cassie Lockwood has grown up in the Wild West Show...she is a sharpshooter that has everything in life blown to bits when the show goes bankrupt. What is a girl to do but follow her late fathers wishes for her to find the Valley of Dreams. The unlikely comrades from the Wild West Show travel together looking for this illusive valley...and have many adventures along the way. I found the book to be quite enjoyable and a nice read for a quiet day. I would have liked to see a little more in depth character portrayal but all in all a good book. Looking forward to reading the second novel in this new series.
