Book Review: Fool Moon Rising

Fool Moon Rising is a such a beautiful book...on so many levels!  As a home school mom, I appreciate the science 'lesson' told throughout the book as the moon discovers where he really receives his light....while at the same time this rhyming tale tells of the dangers of pride.  The illustrations, done by T. Lively Fluharty, are beautiful and the face of the moon takes on an incredible personality throughout the story, which shouldn't be surprising as Mr. T. Lively Fluharty  is an accomplished illustrator who has been featured in TIME magazine, and Sports Illustrated.  What a wonderful interweaving of science, faith and art!  What a nice addition to our family bookshelf.  This would make a perfect supplement in your schooling curriculum when studying the phases of the moon, tides, or how the moon reflects light.  You can find this book and others at www.crossway.org/blog

I have received this book for purpose of review as part of the  Crossway Book Reviewers program.  The thoughts expressed are my own.  I am under no obligation to give a positive review.  It is my pleasure to have had the opportunity to review this book.
