Okay...the title of this book originally made me think, I don't need to read THIS! and then I read the description- discovering how to put your spouse before your kids, re-investing in your marriage-not just your children, tipping the balance back to your spouse and not so weighted to your children...okay maybe I could use this book!
I absolutely LOVED this book...I found it funny, and practical. I would recommend this book to any and every married couple, before during and even after the kids have left home. The authors Dr. Gary Smalley and Ted Cunningham have been honest and transparent in the details of their lives, and this brings authenticity to their recommendations. The authors give practical examples for couples, and churches on ways that they can continue to put marriages first. I would give this book five stars. Hahaha, I love how you opened with this review! I wanted to read this book but all of the copies were out by the time I requested it- could I borrow yours?
