Book Review: Sixty Acres and a Bride

From the first page of the new novel from Regina Jennings Sixty Acres and a Bride, I knew that this would be a great way to spend my next few evenings!

I really enjoyed reading about Rosa, a recently widowed young Mexican girl, who was traveling back to her husbands family ranch in Texas. Life in the South had many new experiences and a few clashes with American traditions that always brought to mind her families Mexican roots. Arriving at the ranch they find themselves in a race against time to save the ranch from takeover from the county. Rosa' heartwarming personality and work ethic, never mind her rare beauty, garners the attention from Weston the county's most eligible bachelor. And so the story begins.....

I really enjoyed this novel. It was fun to read, and had me looking forward to each new chapter.
Well done Regina Jennings!
