The Spiritual Danger of Doing Good
Most of us find our days filled to the brim with activity. The calendar is colour coded for each child's sporting activities, music lessons, and social commitments. Then there are the educational commitments, the spiritual commitments, the committees, ministry opportunities and all of this on top of a full time career! Of course all of these things are good in their own right...but is there a danger of doing good?? In our quest to do the right thing, can we actually be harming those we love?
The Spiritual Danger Of Doing Good by Peter Greer gives an honest assessment of the danger that one can face in the name of doing good. I found his book to be easy to read, engaging, and chock full of knowledge for the typical type A personality. I also found him to give solutions so that we might learn from the stories he shares. This is a great resource!
